Amidst the deep blue sea and volcanic outline of the Aeolian Islands, board a sailing schooner and let the wind carry you to hidden corners of Vulcano and Lipari!
You will sail to magnificent places such as the Faraglioni of Lipari, the Grotta del Cavallo and Cala Mastro Minico, with bathroom stops for snorkelling and observing the crystal-clear seabed.
On board, lunch or an aperitif with typical local products await you, to be enjoyed lulled by the Aeolian sea!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Vulcano (ME) . We will meet the skipper who will accompany us on the sailing trip to discover the Aeolian Islands.
We will set sail from the port and begin our navigation through the volcanic landscapes of the archipelago. The itinerary will vary depending on wind and sea conditions, making each trip unique.
In ideal sea and wind conditions, our first stop could be the Faraglioni of Lipari, where we will take an initial 30-40 minute swim in crystal clear waters. Here we can relax, swim and use snorkelling masks to observe the Aeolian seabed.
We will then sail back to the Grotta del Cavallo di Vulcano, one of the most fascinating corners of the island. Here too we will make a 30-40 minute swim stop, perfect for diving into the transparent sea and enjoying the silence of sailing.
During the excursion we will also reach Cala Mastro Minico for a further 30-40 minute swim stop. Depending on the time chosen, lunch will be served on board with typical local products such as cheese, vegetables, couscous, and meatballs (on the morning tour) or an aperitif with cold meats, cheese, and snacks accompanied by water and fresh white wine (on the afternoon tour), to be enjoyed surrounded by the Aeolian panorama.
At the end of the tour we will return to the starting point. The experience will last a total of 4 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
The experience is not suitable for people with mobility problems.
Other information
The experience takes place from April to October and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
The itinerary and stops may vary depending on weather and wind conditions at the captain's discretion.
The boat used for the excursion is a 15. 20-metre sailing schooner, Luna 50, one of the latest designs by Carter Offshore. The boat is equipped with toilets, sun cushions, shower, refrigerator and a shaded area. You stay barefoot on board.

Dogs are not allowed on board.
The meeting point is located not far from the harbour of Vulcano.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is strict. You get a full refund if you cancel within 15 days from the activity start date. Within 14 and 8 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
