Hire a two-seater scooter and get ready to explore the Ionian coast starting from Torre Vado, letting the scent of the sea and the wind in your hair guide you.
Forget the stress of traffic and parking: you’ll have half a day or a full day to get about in complete freedom.
What we will do
The meeting is at 8. 00 am at the meeting point in Torre Vado (LE). Here, the staff will hand over the scooter to you and explain everything you need to know about riding it and the rules for travelling safely. No previous riding experience is required – just a keen desire to explore.
For this adventure, you’ll be riding a stylish Piaggio Liberty 125 cc, perfect for up to two people. Thanks to its exceptional manoeuvrability, it’ll allow you to travel light and easily reach every corner of the Salento coast. The staff will show you the best routes to take in the surrounding area to ensure you have an unforgettable experience.
You can ride to the famous ‘Maldives of Salento’ to admire stretches of white sand and incredibly clear waters. Alternatively, you can head inland to discover Morciano di Leuca, an authentic village steeped in history. If you prefer views where the two seas meet, another unmissable destination is Santa Maria di Leuca, with its iconic lighthouse and splendid 19th-century villas.
At the end of your hire, you’ll return to the starting point to hand the vehicle back. When booking, you can choose between a half-day (5 hours) or a full day (11 hours).
Who it is aimed at
To ride the scooter, you must hold an A1, A2, A or B driving licence and be at least 18 years old to proceed with the hire agreement.
There are no age restrictions for passengers, however.
Other information
Scooters can be hired all year round, from 8. 00 am. When booking, you can choose between a half-day hire (5 hours) from 8. 00 am to 1. 00 pm or from 2. 00 pm to 7. 00 pm, or a full-day hire (11 hours) from 8. 00 am to 7. 00 pm.
Fuel is not included in the hire price and must be paid for on return on a ‘full-to-full’ basis.
A deposit of €50 (in cash or by card) is required when you collect the scooter; this will be refunded to you on your return.
Dogs are not permitted on board the scooter.
The meeting point is accessible by public transport; there is a pay-and-display car park on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 48 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
