Full description
Beneath the surface of the sea lies a world waiting to be discovered. If you are a diver you know this, but perhaps you do not know that on the seabed of the Cilento lies the statue of the Madonna, the patron saint of divers.
Our experienced instructors will take you to this fascinating place, shrouded in legend and characterised by surprising underwater nature.
To dive here, you must hold an Open Water Diver licence.
What we will do
The meeting is at the diving centre in Contrada Torre Mangone in Torchiara (SA). After meeting the instructors and being equipped with everything necessary (tanks and ballasts are included in the participation fee), we will head to the port of Agropoli in the organisation's van.
In about 10 minutes of navigation we will reach the Madonna del Subacqueo dive site. We will dive to a depth of 14 metres and reach the posidonia meadow where the statue lies. About 180 cm tall, the statue was brought to that spot by two divers in 2018, out of devotion and to offer protection to anyone who ploughs the seas in that area.
After admiring the statue, we will continue our exploration of the seabed by skirting a reef in search of the sea creatures that inhabit the waters.
In total, the activity will last 3 hours, including 1 hour of diving.

Other information
This activity can be carried out all year round, depending on the marine weather conditions.
The participation fee includes tank and ballast, the remaining equipment is the responsibility of the participant and can be rented from the diving centre.
The boat used for the activity is a 10-metre long cabin cruiser, equipped with a kitchen, toilet, equipment rinsing corner and all amenities.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
