Scuba Diving Experience in Catania

Have your first diving experience with the Scuba Diving Experience and dive into the waters of Catania with an experienced instructor.

With a wetsuit, mask, fins, and scuba tank, you will learn to move smoothly underwater, with the instructor following your every move, giving you all the support you need.

The dive consists of 45 actual minutes underwater at a maximum depth of 6 m. When booking, you can choose to do thesingle dive or double the excitement with two consecutive dives with a break of about 1 hour between each one.

What we will do

We will meet at Camping Jonio in Catania, where we will meet thePADI instructor who will accompany us on this wonderful experience.

First, we will have an introductory lesson on basic rules, safety regulations , and theuse of equipment. Afterwards, we will put on our wetsuit and all the necessary equipment and dive into the water via a ladder overlooking the sea.

Your first underwater dive will be a unique emotion: for 45 minutes you will feel suspended, light and free to move in the blue sea, enveloped in silence and surrounded by the marine life that hides beneath the surface.

If you choose the2-dives option, you will do bothdives during the morning, with a break of about 1 hour between the first and seconddives, during which you can rest and learn more about the techniques and various aspects of the discipline with the instructor.

At the end of the experience, you will know what it feels like during a dive and if you want to continue your course, you can decide to enrol in a course to obtain your diving licence.

The experience lasts a total of about 2 hours for thesingle dive and about 4 hours for thedouble dive.

Who it is aimed at

This activity is within everyone's reach. No previous experience is required, you just need to know how to swim and be over 10 years old.

Attention! Please arrive at the meeting point approximately 15 minutes in advance.

The activity can be carried out all year round, weather permitting.

The participation fee includes all equipment necessary to carry out the activity.

Double divers will receive a certificate that will allow them to enrol - within 1 year - in any Open Water Diver course without attending the first two lessons.

It is strongly discouraged to dive 24 hours before an aeroplane flight as, due to the lower atmospheric pressure on board the plane, nitrogen, which may have remained in the body, may form bubbles inside the tissues that can obstruct the flow of blood.
