Full description
Experience the thrill of breathing underwater with our Scuba Diving experience in Polignano a Mare.
You will have the opportunity to learn the various diving procedures, from equipment assembly to breathing. You will dive to a depth of 12 metres in total safety and under the supervision of a professional instructor, discovering the wonders of the Polignano a Mare seabed.

What we will do
The appointment is at the time selected during the booking process at the diving centre in Polignano a Mare. We will be welcomed by an experienced instructor who will hold an initial briefing to hand over all the necessary equipment (included) and explain the diving procedures.
Once this first part is over, beginners will start with snorkelling in shallow water (in a pool or in a delimited basin in the sea with a maximum depth of 5 metres). Once the aquatics tests are over, we will put on a wetsuit, mask, tanks and fins and descend underwater, where we will swim a few centimetres from the seabed. We will be able to see the many forms of life that inhabit the seabed including different species of fish, molluscs, crustaceans and sponges.
We will be shown how to breathe underwater and then move on to the actual dive in deeper water. The maximum depth we will be able to reach will be 12 metres. Throughout the lesson we will be assisted by a professional instructor to ensure maximum safety.
The activity lasts a total of 3 hours, of which 40 minutes of actual diving, at the end of which we will receive a Certificate of Participation (in digital format).
Who it is aimed at
The activity is open to everyone over the age of 10. No patent or specific skills are required, just good health.
Written consent of at least one parent is required for those under 18 years of age.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
