Full description
Are you ready for aunique experience and to dive underwater like a real diver? With this introductory dive you will be able to do so in complete safety with an experienced instructor.
It will be a real 'sea baptism' in the crystal-clear waters of San Vito Lo Capo. Guided by the instructor's hand, you will reach a maximum depth of 12 metres, just enough to experience the thrill of discovering a new world on the seabed!
What we will do
The appointment is in San Vito Lo Capo, in the province of Trapani. There you will meet the instructor who will follow you individually and who will be your reference point for the entire experience. You will begin with a theoretical lesson on the basic principles of diving and the physiology of diving. You will learn how to behave underwater, the best movements to make and everything you need to know to stay safe.
You will be given all thenecessary equipment and, after putting on your wetsuit, you will be ready to go to the dive site. Your instructor will never lose sight of you; he will accompany you by the hand underwater, following your every move.
Metre after metre, without haste, you will reach the maximum depth (12 metres for adults, 6 metres for children) and almost without realising it you will find yourself surrounded by blue and fish, you will feel as if you are flying through the water and you will experience an incredible feeling of freedom!
The experience will last about 3 hours in total, including 45 minutes of theory and 45 minutes of diving.
Who it is aimed at
This experience is open to everyone from 8 years of age. No specific skills or experience are required, just the ability to swim and good health.
Other information
This activity can be carried out from May to September, subject to weather and sea conditions.
Caution! After a dive, you must wait 12 hours before travelling by plane.
Minors must be accompanied to the diving centre by a parent.
Scuba diving 24 hours before a flight by plane is strongly discouraged, as, due to the lower atmospheric pressure on board the plane, nitrogen, which may have remained in the body, may form bubbles inside the tissues that can obstruct the flow of blood.
