Full description

Dive into the waters of San Vito Lo Capo to discover the wonders of the seabed: you will be able to admire many species of fish as well as gorgonians, corals, wrecks, and sea caves full of life and colour.

Experienced and certified instructors will accompany you on arecreational dive selected according to your level, during which you will discover some of Sicily's most famous diving sites.

What we will do

The rendezvous is at the small port of San Vito Lo Capo (TP). We will meet the diving centre instructors, prepare all thenecessary equipment, and, using a comfortable trolley, transport it to the dinghy. We will then get dressed and have a short introductory briefing about the activity and the chosen dive site (this will be selected by the instructor according to the participants' level).

By dinghy we will reach one of the many dive sites in the San Vito Lo Capo area. There are more than 80, varying in characteristics and difficulty. At a depth of a few dozen metres, it will be possible to observe gorgonians, groupers, bream, snappers and many other species of fish. The caves, walls rich in marine organisms and prairies of black coral are remarkable.

One of the most famous dives is that of the wreck of the Kent, a cargo ship that sank in a fire off San Vito Lo Capo, now completely covered by marine flora and fauna: a real spectacle for lovers of underwater photography!

In total, the activity will last about two and a half hours, including 45-60 minutes underwater.
