Fancy a new adventure? Come and try a sea baptism!
Adive designed for those who want to approach the world of underwater exploration and discover the underwater world.
All you have to do is come to the province of Palermo and entrust yourself to an expert instructor, who will take you down to a depth of 5 metres and let you discover the thrill of putting your head underwater and admiring the marine fauna and flora for the first time!
What we will do
We will meet at the diving centre in Trabia (PA), where we will meet the instructors. Once the formalities have been completed, we will leave the venue and our instructor will give us a 35-40 minute presentation of what we are going to do.
He will explain the basics of diving, safety rules and how the equipment works. We will then get dressed in our wetsuit, tanks, regulator, fins and mask, and head out to sea.
When we arrive at the dive site, not far from the meeting point, we will do an acclimatisation test, then descend to a seabed of around 2.5 metres and finally experience thethrill of breathing underwater. We will relax and get used to the new sensation, then the instructor will explain how to fin and slowly we will move into the water until we reach a maximum depth of 5 metres.
For about 30 minutes we will explore the seabed, with its colours and shapes. We will be able to see fish, corals, algae and perhaps even some historical finds. Then we will return to the surface and take a nice hot shower to warm ourselves up.
Finally, we will be offered snacks to refresh us and we will be given the Try Scuba Patent, which will qualify us for Sea Baptism.
The experience lasts a total of about 1½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from 8 years of age. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a responsible adult, while those over the age of 14 can participate with a signed release form.
It is important that you know how to swim and that you do not have asthma, heart or epilepsy problems.

The activity is available all year round.
There are showers and changing rooms with lockers where you can leave your personal belongings in peace.
Companions with dogs on leashes are welcome and may stay at the venue or engage in other water activities or simply sunbathe on the beach.
The fee includes a snack. In the event of allergies or intolerances, an alternative can be requested in advance by contacting the guide using the contact details provided in the booking confirmation e-mail.
You can reach the activity venue by public transport. Free parking spaces are available on site.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
