Tight wetsuit, mask and tanks: the underwater red carpet awaits!
Get out of your routine and show off a whole new personality underwater with this sea baptism at San Domino Island in the Tremiti archipelago. You will be able to dive without needing a licence and together with an instructor, who will explain all the basics of diving!

What we will do
The appointment is 20 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in San Domino (FG) . Awaiting us will be the instructor who will accompany us on this underwater excursion among the wonders of the Adriatic. After completing the registration paperwork, we will dress in the equipment provided by the centre and participate in a technical briefing to learn the safety rules to be followed during the activity.
We will then board a boat and, with a navigation of about 5 minutes, we will reach an exclusive site within the Marine Protected Area of the Tremiti Islands. Once in the water, we will do an initial acclimatisation phase to become familiar with the regulator, observing the instructor who will show us each step calmly.
When we feel confident and know how to breathe underwater and compensate correctly, we will begin the descent together with our guide. We will reach a maximum depth of 8 metres, swimming among moray eels, snappers and shoals of barracuda. We will experience the thrill of exploring the beauty of the underwater world for about 30 minutes and relax, enjoying ourselves.
Finally, we will re-board the boat to return to our starting point.
The experience will last a total of 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 10 and up; children under the age of 18 can participate if a parent signs a waiver.
To participate in the activity, it is not necessary to know how to swim, but it is essential to be comfortable with water.
A medical certificate is required in the event of heart problems, epilepsy or diabetes. The experience is forbidden for pregnant women and those suffering from a severe cold, which would prevent proper compensation. Scuba diving in the 24 hours preceding an aeroplane flight is not recommended.
The activity is suitable for first-time divers and no licence is required to participate.
Other information
The experience runs from May until November.
There are changing rooms with toilets and outdoor showers on site. Any valuables can be stored in a common storage room, which is free of charge.
Companions with leashed dogs may wait at the diving centre; companions may also board the boat (subject to availability) .
Travel on the island is exclusively on foot or by bicycle.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
