Discover the magic of Salento on a Scott E-Ride Subcross,a hybrid e-bike with enough battery life to last a whole day, and cycle effortlessly along a 30 km route through the spectacular scenery of Melendugno.
Guided by the interactive app, you’ll pass through enchanting landscapes, picture-perfect beaches and unspoilt natural spots: the perfect experience for anyone who wants to discover the magic of this region without breaking a sweat!
What we will do
The meeting is at 9. 00 am in Melendugno, where you’ll collect your e-bike for the whole day.
Once you’ve sorted out the rental formalities, you’ll hop on the Scott E-Ride Subcross, a hybrid e-bike with a range of 80–100 km, perfect for all kinds of routes. Its slightly knobbly tyres will allow you to tackle even the most adventurous trails.
Simply open the app on your phone to follow the interactive map showing the roughly 30 km route. You’ll cycle along the stunning Salento coastline, first reaching the renowned resort of San Foca and then Roca, where you can admire the spectacular Grotta della Poesia from above – a natural pool set within the rock.
You’ll then continue towards the golden beaches of Torre dell’Orso Bay, nestled amongst lush pine forests, until you reach the Faraglioni di Sant’Andrea, which rise out of the turquoise sea. Throughout the route, you’ll be in charge of deciding when to stop: you can pause to take panoramic photos, take a refreshing dip or enjoy an aperitif and some local specialities at the coastal eateries.
At the end of the tour, you’ll return to the starting point. You’re expected to be back by 6. 00 pm.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Child seats are available for children up to 3 years of age and baby carriages for children up to 5 years of age are available at an extra charge to be paid on site.
It is possible to ride the e-bike with a minimum height of 1.40 m. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult when signing the rental contract.
Other information
Bike hire is available all year round, from 9. 00 am to 6. 00 pm.
Important: the organiser may ask you to provide a deposit of up to €300 by credit card, which will be refunded to you when you return the bike.
Pet trolleys are not available.
The meeting point is accessible by public transport; free parking is available in the surrounding area.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 48 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
