Would you like to walk on water? For now, we’ve found a way for you to cycle on it ( and it’s amazing! ).
Get ready for an out-of-the-ordinary experience on a shuttle-bike in Omegna. Halfway between a bike and a small pedal boat, this original floating bike will let you admire Lake Orta in a unique and original way.
In the basket of your shuttle-bike, you’ll find everything you need for an aperitif with a view of the lake – er, we mean – on the lake!
What we will do
Please meet at the meeting point in Omegna (VB) at the time indicated.
The staff will hand you your shuttle-bike and a basket with an aperitif. After a brief briefing on how the water bike works, you’ll be ready to set off.
The shuttle-bikes are stable and easy to manoeuvre: they’re propelled by pedalling, which drives a propeller located beneath the bike. All you need to do is pedal as you would on a normal bike… but on the water!
You’ll be free to explore the stretch of lake in front of the colourful village of Omegna, cycle along the shore to discover hidden views, or stop out in the middle of the lake to enjoy your snack.
In the shuttle bike’s basket, you’ll find an aperitif kit consisting of a pre-mixed cocktail, ice and nibbles such as olives and crisps, so you can raise a glass during your stop on the lake!
At the end of your hire, you’ll return the shuttle bike to the starting point. The activity will last a total of 30 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is suitable for children aged 10 and over. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The vehicle is not accessible to people with mobility issues.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
