Full description
Ski mountaineering is the main activity of our winters. It is a sport capable of combining the two souls of the mountain: that of the ascent and that of the descent.
With a day in the company of our Alpine Guides, we will discover this complete discipline both physically and emotionally. You will learn the technique of ascent and descent, discover the secrets and open up a world of snow, effort, fun and fabulous scenery.
The Susa Valley was the cradle of this activity that is freedom and exploration. Our mountain guides will lead you to discover the peaks and slopes.
What we will do
The meeting point with the guide is Bardonecchia. During our tours, the guides will take you to the main peaks of Bardonecchia, Cesana Torinese and also across the border to France. The route to be followed will be decided according to the weather and the level of the participants.
The groups are always composed of a small number of people so that the guide can, in addition to accompanying, dedicate himself to teaching the techniques of ascent and descent.
Very important is the time devoted during the outing to safety, both in terms of self-rescue techniques and the assessment of the stability of the snowpack and the safest route. No less important is the choice of outing based on the best safety conditions and snow quality.

Attention. You must arrive at the meeting point at least 10 minutes before the start time of the activity.
The participation fee is to be divided by the number of participants.
The safety kit (avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe) is included in the participation fee. Ski mountaineering equipment can be rented locally from a specialised shop.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
