If there were a window on the real Tuscany, this would be it: a SkyRoom overlooking the hills, where the day is green and gold and the night is full of stars.
Discover this unusual accommodation in Gambassi Terme, with its transparent, openable roof, and stay a short distance from iconic places like Monteriggioni, San Gimignano and Volterra.

What we will do
Check-in is from 12 noon at the property in Gambassi Terme (FI). On your arrival you will be welcomed by the owners, ready to show you their 60-hectare farm in Valdelsa, where they grow saffron, spelt, olives and vegetables, and produce oil, cheese, jams and honey.
You will find your SkyRoom located under the farmhouse, with a full view of the surrounding hills. The transparent, openable roof will allow you to fall asleep looking at the sky, immersed in the sounds of the countryside and comfortably lying on the double mattress.
Upon reservation and subject to availability, during the day you can participate in extra activities such as guided tours of the farm, cooking workshops, tastings of local products and truffle hunts. If you prefer to have the day to yourself, you can explore the surroundings independently, reaching the nearby villages of Monteriggioni, San Gimignano and Volterra, among the most beautiful in Tuscany.
In the evening, on request, you can enjoy a dinner prepared with ingredients from the farm (not included and to be paid on site), while in the morning a sweet awakening awaits you with breakfast included.
Check-out is by 10:30 am.

The bathroom is for private use, located about 100 metres from the SkyRoom, behind the main house, and equipped with a toilet, washbasin and shower. Towels are not included. No electrical sockets are available in the SkyRoom, but the hosts will direct you to the nearest outlet for charging your electronic devices.
Tourist tax (not included) is 1€ per person per day, payable locally in cash.
Dinner and other activities offered by the hotel are not included in the stay and must be paid on site. For details on costs and arrangements, please contact the organiser at the contact details provided in your booking confirmation email.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
