With this two-and-a-half-hour snorkelling experience in Sorrento, you can sail through the Punta Campanella Marine Protected Area and explore the magnificent waters of Cala di Mitigliano with a marine biologist.

What we will do
The appointment is at the indicated time at the meeting point in Sorrento (NA) . Awaiting us will be the skipper and the marine biologist who will accompany us on our excursion. After a brief presentation of the staff and an introductory briefing, we will receive our snorkelling equipment (wetsuit, mask, fins and snorkel) .
Once we are ready, we will set sail in an inflatable boat to the wonders of the peninsula. While sailing, we will admire the rugged coastline and listen to fascinating explanations about the marine species in the area, preparing us for what we will see once in the water.
We will make at least two targeted snorkelling stops to explore the most vibrant parts of the coastline. We will pass through the Protected Marine Area of Punta Campanella and stop at Cala di Mitigliano, a natural inlet with a stunning view of Capri and a seabed teeming with life. Here we will be able to spot bream, damselfish and, with a little care, small octopuses camouflaged among the rocks.
After the underwater exploration, we will re-board to relax and enjoy an included refreshment of sweet or salty snacks and water, perfect for recovering our energy while enjoying the sun.
Finally, we will return to the starting point. The experience will last a total of 2½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for ages 8 and up; children under 18 can only participate if accompanied by a responsible adult.
To participate, you must be in good health and able to swim.
The boat is not accessible to people in wheelchairs or with reduced mobility.
Other information
The activity takes place from May to October. The itinerary and stops may vary depending on weather and sea conditions.
The boat used will be a 7. 5-metre or 9. 5-metre dinghy, equipped with a canopy and ladder. On board one stays without shoes.

Dogs are not allowed on board.
On-site parking spaces are available for a fee. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
