Full description
There are wonderful beaches that are not necessarily accessible by boat tour. Prepare yourself for a fantastic full-day snorkelling tour by car or minivan around Alghero in north-western Sardinia. In the company of a local guide and a marine biologist, you will discover truly impressive locations, far from mass tourism and characterised by unspoilt nature.
The tour includes two guided tours of about one hour in two different locations. The first location will be more naturalistic with rich marine flora and fauna, while the second will have a more geological character with wonderful caves and rocks at the bottom of the sea.
Share with your fellow adventurers a delicious lunch on the beach with typical Sardinian products. We are waiting for you!
What we will do
We will meet the guide at 8.45 am in Alghero, on the north-western coast of Sardinia. After a short briefing and the handover of mask and snorkel (included), we will depart by land with the organisation's vehicles (car or minivan) at around 9.00 am.
We will discover two different locations in the Alghero area. The first stop with diving and snorkelling will be in a marine area rich in flora and fauna, while the second will involve a change of seascape. We will dive and explore some very interesting seabeds from a geological point of view with suggestive caves, rocks and arches.
These are areas little frequented by mass tourism, allowing us to admire the Coral Riviera at its best and enjoy a truly unique experience. We will also have the opportunity to admire several beaches and coves.
We will explore the seabed for about an hour at each location, accompanied by a marine biologist. Between dives, we will stop to enjoy a lunch of typical Sardinian products (included) by the sea. Finally, we will return to the starting point in Alghero at around 16.00.
The activity lasts a total of about 7 hours, of which one in the car altogether and 6 at the various beaches.

The activity is suitable for everyone from 4 years old and up. Swimming skills required.

The tour runs from June to September, subject to weather and sea conditions, and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
