Are you looking for a snorkelling tour that’s out of the ordinary? You’ve found it!
This three-and-a-half-hour experience will see you board a comfortable rubber dinghy and set off from San Teodoro to explore the magnificent Tavolara Marine Protected Area. At each stop, you’ll be able to go snorkelling with an expert guide, and the sea scooters will let you enjoy the spectacle without any effort!
Get ready to dive into some stunning waters!
What we will do
We’ll meet 15 minutes before the selected time in San Teodoro (SS).
Here we’ll meet our snorkelling guide, who’ll provide us with a mask, fins and snorkel to use during the activity. At that point, we’ll be ready to set off on our adventure in the Tavolara Marine Protected Area!
We’ll board a spacious and comfortable rubber dinghy and sail through enchanting scenery, such as La Cinta and the Gulf of Cala Brandinchi, until we reach Lu Impostu, where we’ll stop for our first swim in the sea, during which we’ll be able to use sea scooters for snorkelling.
Once back on board, we’ll head for the Grotta del Fornoon Proratora Island, drawing closer to the southern coast of Tavolara Island, where we’ll make a second stop to swim and snorkel amongst schools of damselfish and castagnole. Using the sea scooters, we’ll explore the sea in search of sea bream, groupers, crabs and starfish! What’s more, we’ll be accompanied by an expert guide, who’ll point out the most interesting species .
After a snack on board, we’ll round off the tour by exploring the magnificent Piscine di Molara and Cala Girgolu!
We’ll return to port after around three and a half hours of activities.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is suitable for children aged 5 and over. Unaccompanied children under the age of 18 may take part provided a parent has signed a consent form. Use of the sea scooter is restricted to participants aged 12 and over, but younger children may use it when accompanied by a parent.
To take part, you must be able to swim and must not be pregnant.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible.
Other information
The activity runs from April to October and is confirmed provided there are at least 4 participants. Until early June, the experience will take place at Marina di Puntaldia, rather than at San Teodoro Marina. Please contact the organisers using the contact details provided in your booking confirmation email to request the exact address and further information.
The trip is carried out on an Altamarea Wave inflatable boat fitted with a Honda 252 engine, measuring 8 m in length and 3 m in width, and featuring a shaded area and ample space with benches and cushions for relaxing.
Showers and toilets are available at the diving centre. During the activity, you can leave your personal belongings in the care of the staff on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
