Discover what lies beneath the surface of the crystal-clear waters of the Costa Smeralda with a snorkelling tour in the protected marine reserve of La Maddalena and Caprera Island.
Take a boat to the most picturesque spots in the archipelago and dive with mask, fins and snorkel to discover the marvellous seabed of one of the Mediterranean's most popular destinations.
What we will do
We will meet at 8.30 a.m. at the diving centre in Cannigione, in the province of Sassari. After a brief introductory briefing and donning thenecessary equipment, we will board the boat with the instructor and head to the most beautiful spots in the Maddalena marine reserve and the island of Caprera.
We will travel together with the divers on the same boat, and while they dive we will be free to explore the reefs with mask, fins and snorkel. We will dive into the emerald waters of this marine protected area and admire the alternation between the magnificent granite coastline and the white sandy beaches, as well as all the sea creatures that we will be able to observe below the surface of the water.
During our time in the sea, we can alternate between swimming and relaxing in the boat (where we will also have snacks and drinks), and then dive again until the divers resurface. At that point, we will all return to the diving centre together.
The duration of the activity can vary from 3 to 5 hours and is dependent on the diving programme, as is the itinerary. Snorkelers will move independently, with the supervision of the instructors remaining on board the boat.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is at an easy level and is open to everyone, aged 8 and up, with good aquatic skills.

This activity can be booked all year round, weather permitting.
At the end of the excursion, you can use the diving centre's facilities, such as showers and changing rooms.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
