Full description

You don't have to be Ariel to sing 'In fondo al mar'. All you need is a mask, a snorkel and some desire to explore: Capo Milazzo, with its seabed full of life, takes care of the rest!

On board a rubber dinghy, together with an expert guide, you will sail along the promontory and make two or three snorkelling stops in crystal-clear waters, surrounded by damselfish , groupers, parrotfish and other sea inhabitants.

All in 3 hours of adventure, complete with a final toast. Feel like diving in yet?

What we will do

The appointment is at the indicated time at the meeting point in Milazzo (ME). Awaiting us will be our guide and marine biologist, as well as the skipper, ready to accompany us on this excursion.

During a brief introductory briefing, we will discover together the route along the promontory by looking at it on a map, then we will board the dinghy and begin our navigation in theCapo Milazzo Marine Protected Area.

After about 15 minutes we will reach the first stop: we will make a free swim stop of about 30 minutes at the Rinella cove, which is perfect for beginning to get acquainted with the marine environment.

We will continue sailing to the second stop, where guided snorkelling in the water awaits us. We will don mask and snorkel and explore underwater ravines and rocks to discover sponges, madrepores, crabs, hermit crabs and colourful fish. This stop will last about 40 minutes.

Finally, if weather conditions permit, we will reach St. Anthony's Bay, where we can make a third stop of about 50 minutes for free or guided snorkelling. On the seabed, near the bay, there is also the impressive submerged statue of St Francis of Paola, at a depth of between 8 and 9 metres.

Before returning to base, we will recharge our batteries with fruit, cold drinks and prosecco on board.

The experience will last a total of 3 hours.
