Snorkeling tour in Brindisi

Does the idea of putting your head underwater and discovering new sea forms sound irresistible to you? Then this 2½-hour snorkelling experience is perfect for you!

Head to the Punta del Serrone dive site in Brindisi and let a dive instructor take you on a discovery of the area's marine ecosystem.

Have fun spotting fish, octopus, starfish and crabs, then refresh yourself with a snack!

What we will do

We will meet at the meeting point in Brindisi (BR), where our diving instructor will be waiting for us.

After an initial welcome, we will listen to a briefing of about 30 minutes, during which we will find out how the activity will be structured, what characterises the site where we will dive, and what marine forms populate it. We will also be given theequipment (included) and explained how to use it.

Once the theoretical part is over, we will take our cars and in about five minutes we will reach the Punta del Serrone dive site, one of the most famous in Puglia and part of the park of the same name. Having donned the equipment, we will board the rubber dinghy and sail for about 15 minutes.

Once we arrive at the point chosen by the instructor, we will dive into the sea and explore the area by snorkelling for about an hour. As we swim, we will have fun discovering the different marine forms that characterise the area, including bream, salps, anemones, starfish, crabs and various types of seaweed. The instructor will point out the most interesting ones and, together with him, we might even see some octopus dens!

At the end of the snorkelling session, we will re-board the dinghy and refresh ourselves with a snack (included) of tarallini and soft drinks.

The activity, which will end with a return to the starting point, will last a total of 2½ hours.

Who it is aimed at

The activity is suitable for ages 7 and up. Children under the age of 18 can only participate if accompanied by a responsible adult who can wait on land or on board the dinghy if they do not wish to take part in the activity.

Swimming skills are required for the activity.

The activity is not suitable for wheelchair users or those with walking difficulties.

Other information

The activity is available all year round and will be confirmed when a minimum of 4 participants are reached.

The meeting point can be reached by public transport and there is ample free parking in the vicinity. Changing rooms, showers, toilets and lockers are available at the facility (service included). Transfer to the dive site will take place with one's own car or, if necessary, with the activity organisers' vehicles. The dive site may vary depending on weather conditions.

Theboat used during the activity is an 8.5-metre rubber dinghy, approved for 18 passengers and equipped with an ascending ladder. It is necessary to remain barefoot or in slippers on board. The instructor will provide thenecessary equipment (included), which will include mask, snorkel, tube, fins, wetsuit and life jacket.

At the end of the activity, a snack (included) consisting of tarallini and soft drinks will be offered. In case of allergies or intolerances, it will be possible to request an alternative in advance via the contact details you will receive in your booking confirmation e-mail.

Dogs are not allowed on board.
