Join us for a fantastic half-day snorkelling tour inside theCapo Carbonara Marine Protected Area in Villasimius.
Put on your mask, fins, and snorkel and dive into the crystal-clear waters of Sardinia to discover a true natural paradise, characterised by granite rocks and inhabited by a huge variety of fish and marine species.
In the company of professional guides, you will be surrounded by the beauty of one of Sardinia's best preserved areas. We are waiting for you!
What we will do
The meeting is at the diving centre in Villasimius, in the province of Cagliari. On arrival we will be welcomed by the guides, who will provide us withsnorkelling equipment (included). Once the small group (up to 10 participants) has been formed, we will board the dinghy in the direction of theCapo Carbonara Marine Protected Area.
The Marine Protected Area stretches over 34 km of coastline from Capo Boi to the promontory north of Punta Porceddus and was established in 1999 to protect an incredibly diverse flora and fauna. We will have the opportunity to admire gorgonians, peaceful barracudas, octopuses, shrimps and lobsters, moray e els and much more.
By rubber dinghy, we will reach the first chosen dive site. Here we will dive into the crystal-clear waters with mask and snorkel to admire the beautiful seabed and the creatures that inhabit it.
At the end of the first snorkelling tour, which lasts about an hour, we will take a break on the boat with snacks before reaching the second dive site. We will admire an underwater spectacle of granite rocks and underwater grasslands, amidst the yellow of the sea daisies and the red of the gorgonia.
After about three and a half hours of excursion, we will finally return to the starting point.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from the age of 4. It is necessary to know how to swim.

Attention! Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the start.
Mask, fins and snorkel are included in the participation fee. If you wish to hire a wetsuit instead, there is an extra charge of €5 (to be paid on site).
The tour is available from April to October, subject to weather and sea conditions.
