What we will do
The meeting point is 15 minutes before 09:00 at the meeting point onGiglio Island (GR). We will be welcomed by the guide who will accompany us on this adventure!
Once we have finished boarding all the participants and provided them with all the information they need to carry out the experience, we will set sail. After about 1 hour of sailing, we will reach theProtected Marine Area of Giannutri Island. In the meantime, a snorkelling lesson will be given on board during which we will learn how to use theequipment correctly and practise the various positions to hold in the water.
We will then anchor in front of Cala Calbugina, for a 1-hour swim stop during which we will finally be able to snorkel! At around 12 noon, we will land onGiannutri Island for a 3-hour shore break: we can continue exploring on our own, have lunch in an affiliated restaurant in the centre (lunch optional and not included) or take part in a guided tour of the Roman Villa (guided tour optional and not included).
Back on board, we will head towards Punta Secca for our second swimming-snorkelling stop lasting 1 hour. For those who wish, by purchasing the"snorkelling + baptism of the sea" option when booking, it will also be possible to try our first scuba dive with a dedicated instructor and full equipment.
We will finally return to the meeting point at 18:00. The experience will last a total of 9 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone without age limits; children under 18 must be accompanied on board by an adult. Children from 0 to 1 year old participate free of charge but must report their presence on board by contacting the guide at the contact details given in the booking confirmation e-mail.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible.
Other information
The experience takes place from June to September and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 6 participants.
There is paid parking in the vicinity of the meeting point. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
Theboat is an inflatable boat with a small shaded area. It is possible to keep one's own shoes on board, but it is preferable to remain barefoot. Dogs are not allowed on board.
There is no changing room on site but there is a toilet and an outdoor shower.
When booking, you can choose between the'snorkelling' and'snorkelling + sea baptism' options. The "snorkelling + baptism of the sea" option includes, during one of the bathing stops, the performance of the first scuba dive with a dedicated instructor and full equipment; this option is reserved for participants aged 8 years and over and is forbidden for persons with respiratory and/or circulatory system disorders.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 48 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
