Full description
Set off from Forio on board a small boat and get ready to discover Ischia with a truly exclusive snorkelling tour with a local guide.
The largest island in the Gulf of Naples is world-renowned for its picturesque bays and beneficial thermal waters that flow into the sea at temperatures of up to 90°.
On a four-and-a-half-hour excursion, you'll have the chance to explore the marine fauna and flora with a complimentary snorkelling kit and enjoy a light lunch while admiring some of the island's natural beauty such as the Bay of Citara, Scannella, and Sorgeto. Book your place now!
What we will do
The appointment is at 9.30 a.m. at the port of Forio. From here, accompanied by our skipper, we will set off towards the west coast of the island.
We will sail along the picturesque Citara Bay located below Punta Imperatore, where the island's largest thermal park, the Poseidon Gardens, is also located. From here we will continue to Scannella, a small paradise nestled among the rocks, where silence and relaxation reign.
Passing along Pelara Bay, we will head towards the renowned Sorgeto, a true open-air thermal park that welcomes bathers and tourists all year round. In this suggestive crescent-shaped cove surrounded by vertical rock walls, thethermal water flows directly into the sea, with temperatures reaching up to 90°.
A light lunch will be served on board with typical local products such as seasonal bruschetta, water and soft drinks. On request, however, it is also possible to have alcoholic beverages.
Before heading back, we will make onelast stop at Punta Chiarito, returning to port at around 13:00.
Only one dive site is planned, which may vary depending on crowded conditions. The total duration of the excursion is 4½ hours, divided into 2 hours of sailing and 2 hours of snorkelling.
Who it is aimed at
Activity open to all, no age limit. Participation is free from 0 to 3 years, but no life jackets are available for children under 10.
Swimming skills are required.
Other information
The activity takes place from April to November, depending on weather and sea conditions, and is reserved for private groups of 1 to 6 participants.
You will travel on a 7-metre boat equipped with an awning, minibar and shower, while there is no toilet on board. All snorkelling equipment will be provided and sanitised after each use.
The tour can be customised according to the needs of the group: you can contact the activity organisers via the contacts you will receive in your booking confirmation e-mail to request a different departure time, a guide in French and different navigation stages.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
