Full description
They say that life should be faced head-on, but on snow it is much better to take it sideways. On a snowboard!
At Passo del Tonale, you will learn to change your perspective and find your balance on the board, thanks to a 6-day group course. All around, the Adamello Group and the Presena Glacier will frame your lessons.
You will have a total of 12 hours of activity spread over 6 days (Sunday to Friday) with an instructor. Get ready to leave your wake in the snow!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point at Passo del Tonale (TN). Here we will be welcomed by the staff of the Ski and Snowboard School for a quick equipment check and a cognitive briefing. The instructor will assess our predisposition and goals in order to place us in the most suitable group.
When booking, you can choose between:
- Beginners: the "One week as a rider" programme is dedicated to those who have never tried snowboarding before. We'll start with the basics, working on balance and first glides.
- Intermediates: the "Pro style" programme is ideal for those who already ride a board and want to improve their control, fluidity and safety on the area's most challenging slopes.
During the 6-day course, the instructors will guide us through targeted exercises to gain confidence, starting on the equipped school slopes and moving on to more scenic and technical slopes for those who are ready. The area offers wide and sunny slopes, perfect for progressing in total tranquillity.
Lessons will be held according to this schedule: Sundays from 14: 00 to 16: 00 and Mondays to Fridays from 09: 00 to 11: 00. Starting on Sunday afternoon will allow us to get familiar with the snow and our group mates, and then take advantage of the morning snow on the following days.
Each daily session will last 2 hours, for a total of 12 hours of course time.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for 12 years of age and above. Minors must be accompanied by an adult participant at the meeting point to be handed over to the instructor.
When booking, you can select your level, from beginner to intermediate.
Other information
Courses are held from Sunday to Friday(Sundays from 14: 00 to 16: 00 and Mondays to Fridays from 09: 00 to 11: 00) , from December to April. After booking, you can get in touch with the school staff to make any prior arrangements.
Snowboard equipment and ski passes are not included: remember to bring them with you before your lessons.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
