Your snow adventure is about to begin!
Get behind the wheel of a snowmobile and whizz across the snow for 1. 5 hours of pure fun. Reach the Lago dell'Orso resort in the Laga Mountains and enjoy the view of the snow-capped peaks of Abruzzo.
Amidst enchanted beech forests and the silence of nature, you are guaranteed a magical experience.
What we will do
We will meet 15 minutes before the time chosen at the time of booking in Ceppo, a hamlet of Rocca Santa Maria.
Before setting off, we will have a short preparatory briefing : the guide will show us how the snowmobile works, how to start it up, accelerate and brake, and then we will do a short test run.
Once safe to drive, we will begin our approximately 10 km excursion through the snow-covered landscapes of the Laga Mountains. From an altitude of 1300 metres at Ceppo we will speed through the snow until we reach the 2000 metres of Lago dell'Orso, a lake of glacial origin that is now dry.
Before reaching the summit, we will cross the magic of the Bosco dei Faggi Torti, with sunlight filtering through the branches, and stop for a break with drinks on offer (water and wine) right near Lago dell'Orso.
We will then switch to driving the snowmobile with our companions and begin the exciting descent back down.
The total duration of the tour is 1½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The driver of the snowmobile must be at least 18 years old and have a B licence, while there is no age limit for passengers.
Children and young people from 6 to 18 years of age are considered passengers and may ride the snowmobile with one parent only. Children up to the age of 5, on the other hand, can ride the snowmobile together with their parents, for a total of three participants per snowmobile.
Other information
The activity is available from December to March , subject to snow conditions, on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 snowmobiles booked.
The price is per snowmobile. The organiser has 12 snowmobiles available that can carry 2 persons.
It is possible to participate as a passenger on the guide's snowmobile, from the age of 6, subject to availability; please select the "Passenger only" option in the booking box.
During the excursion it is possible to swap driving if the driver and passenger are both 18 years old and have a B licence. If you wish to swap driving, you must notify us before the tour starts.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport. Free parking is available on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
