Full description
Admire the magnificent winter landscapes of Carnia and Val Lumiel, Friuli Venezia Giulia, with asnowmobile excursion along the suggestive trails of Mount Ruke.
Climb aboard the gritty motor vehicle and discover the thrill of driving on snow, in the middle of the woods and surrounded by nature.
You will set off from Sauris di Sopra and tackle a simple route, also suitable for beginners, but that will give you thrills, adrenaline and fun!
What we will do
The meeting point for the activity is in Sauris di Sopra, a hamlet of the municipality of Sauris (UD). Upon arrival, the guides will welcome us and explain how to use the snowmobiles, giving us all the safety instructions. We will then climb aboard to perform a small driving test and, finally, set off on the actualexcursion .
Starting out from the Sauris di Sopra esplanade, we will move in the direction of the Baita Hitte hut, and then we will proceed along the paths of Monte Ruke, straddling the valley and Lake Sauris, in a magnificent natural setting surrounded by the peaks of the Carnic Alps.
Along the way, we will stop at the most suggestive points to take souvenir photos and, if you wish, you can take advantage of the stop to change guides with your passenger. Thecircular route will end with a return to the starting point.
The experience lasts either 1 hour or 1½ hours, depending on the option chosen when booking.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is open to everyone from the age of 5.
To drive a snowmobile you must be at least 21 years old, with an A or B driving licence.
Other information
This activity can be carried out from December to March, depending on weather and snowpack conditions.
The fee includes the guided tour and the rental of a snowmobile for 2 persons, a driver and a possible passenger (who may switch to driving).
The centre has 8 snowmobiles for a total of 16 participants.
When purchasing, you can choose to book the 1-hour or 2-hour excursion: select the corresponding option in the booking box.
