If you love sport fishing and unspoilt nature, this experience on the Tiber at Passo Corese is just the thing for you!
You’ll navigate through lush vegetation and wildlife until you reach a waterfall set in surroundings reminiscent of the Amazon.
Accompanied by an expert instructor, you’ll spend a whole day dedicated to catch-and-release fishing in one of the river’s most picturesque stretches!
What we will do
Please arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled time at the meeting point in Passo Corese. After a welcome,the instructor will lead a briefing on safety and the details of the experience. We’ll find out what equipment to use, how to choose the most suitable bait and which techniques to employ on the River Tiber.
Once the briefing is over, we’ll board the boat and set off. Within minutes, we’ll leave the starting point and head into a river environment teeming with vegetation and wildlife. During the journey, we’ll be able to observe various species that inhabit the area, including ducks and hawks that frequent the riverbanks.
We will then reach the fishing area situated at the foot of a waterfall. Here we will put into practice what we learnt during the briefing, alternating between moments of observation, waiting and action.
The activity will be carried out according to the principles of catch and release: every fish caught will be released. In this stretch of the Tiber, you may encounter catfish, pike, asp, carp, chub and barbel.
During the day, you can enjoy the packed lunch you have brought with you or, if booked in advance, savour a meal made with local, farm-fresh produce, available for an additional charge payable on site.
At the end of the fishing session, we will return by boat to the starting point.
The activity will last a total of 9 hours.

This activity is suitable for those aged 18 and over.
The activity is suitable both for those who already practise recreational fishing and for those wishing to try it for the first time accompanied by an instructor.
This experience is not accessible to people with mobility impairments.

The experience runs all year round.
The boat used is a 4-metre Boston Whaler 13, equipped with electronic instruments and an on-board galley.
You are welcome to bring your own packed lunch. Alternatively, for an additional €30 per person payable on the day, a lunch featuring local, farm-fresh produce is available. Please inform the organisers of your preference before the experience, using the contact details provided in your booking confirmation email.
Dogs are not permitted.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
