You’ve taken the bait: lunch.
Join us for a day’s fishing at Passo Corese: accompanied by an expert instructor, you’ll learn to fish along the River Tiber using the ‘catch and release’ method. And you’ll head to a small island to enjoy a lunch made with local produce.
It’s a lure that even we can’t wait to take the bait on!
What we will do
We’ll meet 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Passo Corese, a hamlet in the municipality of Fara in Sabina (RI) . Once there, we’ll meet the fishing instructor who’ll be guiding us on this adventure!
Once all participants have gathered, the instructor will provide all the information needed to ensure a hassle-free experience: what equipment to use, how to choose the most suitable bait, which techniques to employ, and other insights into the world of recreational fishing.
We’ll then board the boat and set off along the River Tiber, home not only to fish but also to ducks and birds of prey. We’ll then reach the designated fishing spot, situated at the foot of a waterfall. We’ll set up our tackle and start fishing, alternating between moments of observation, waiting and action. We may catch catfish, pike, asp, carp, chub and barbel; every fish caught will be released in accordance with the ‘catch and release’ principle.
The experience is enhanced by a lunch featuring local produce, served on a nearby islet set up for the occasion: American Duroc pork, sausages, pancetta, lamb ribs, kebabs and other locally sourced produce such as bruschetta topped with vegetables, Roman-style ‘coppiette’, local cheese and olives from our own garden; accompanied by water, beer and local wine.
We will then return to the meeting point. The experience lasts a total of 9 hours.

The experience runs all year round.
The boat used is a 4-metre Boston Whaler 13, equipped with electronic instruments and a galley.

Dogs are not permitted.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point is accessible by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
