Close your eyes and imagine: the light rustling of the leaves, the intense perfume of the vineyards, the starry sky above you.
In Monforte d'Alba, in the heart of the Langhe, you can experience a special night in a StarsBOX, a wooden shelter with an opening roof to let you be enchanted by the stars.
Relax by the pool and, in the morning, enjoy a rich and genuine buffet breakfast, with cakes, cold meats and local cheeses.
What we will do
Check-in is scheduled from 3 p. m. at Sant'Anna in Monforte d'Alba, in the province of Cuneo. On your arrival, the staff will accompany you to your StarsBOX, a small wooden nest with an opening ceiling.
The StarsBox is located opposite the outdoor swimming pool, with a large wooden patio and a magnificent view of the vineyards of Monforte d'Alba. During your stay, you can relax with a dip in the swimming pool (open from June to September) or soak in the outdoor Jacuzzi for a moment of pure well-being. Sun loungers are also at your disposal, perfect for admiring the view and letting yourself be enveloped in peace and quiet.
The Langhe await you with their authentic experiences: excursions, e-bike hire, typical restaurants and wine tasting are just some of the activities you can enjoy in the area.
If you wish, you can enrich your evening with an aperitif of wine and local products (not included) . But the real highlight of the day will be after sunset, when you can open the roof of your StarsBOX and lie back and watch the stars!
In the morning, waking up will taste of good things: a hearty and genuine breakfast (included) , with cakes, local cold meats and cheeses, juices and many other delicacies.
Check-out is by 11 a. m. the following morning.
Who it is aimed at
The StarsBOX is designed to accommodate a maximum of 2 adults.
The facility is not wheelchair-accessible.
Other information
The experience is available from April to October. Check-in is from 15: 00 onwards.
The StarsBOX has an outdoor toilet and washbasin and a changing room a short distance away. There is a sun shower by the pool, but no indoor shower. In the colder months, a chest heater is available.
For the aperitif, which is not included and is payable locally, you can request a large platter for 2 people for 25€ or a small platter for 18€; bottles of wine start from 10€ upwards. You can request an aperitif at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail, also indicating any food allergies and/or intolerances.
The fee does not include the tourist tax of €1. 50 per person per night, payable locally in cash.
Small dogs are allowed.
The property is not accessible by public transport; free parking is available on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
