Close your eyes and imagine: the light rustling of the leaves, the intense perfume of the vineyards, the starry sky above you.
In Monforte d'Alba, in the heart of the Langhe, you can experience a special night in a StarsBOX, a wooden shelter with an opening roof to let you be enchanted by the stars.
Choose from 2 StarsBOXes available: facing the swimming pool, perfect for relaxing outdoors, or nestled among the vineyards, ideal for those seeking privacy and a breathtaking view. In the morning, a rich and genuine breakfast buffet awaits you, with cakes, cold meats and local cheeses.
What we will do
Check-in is scheduled from 3 p.m. at Sant'Anna in Monforte d'Alba, in the province of Cuneo. On your arrival, the staff will accompany you to your StarsBOX, a small wooden nest with an opening ceiling.
When booking, you can choose from 2 different StarsBOXes:
- StarsBOX pool: located in front of the pool and equipped with a large wooden patio.
- StarsBOX vineyard: in a more secluded location surrounded by vineyards, for more privacy.
Both accommodations enjoy magnificent views over the vineyards of Monforte d'Alba. During your stay, you can relax with a dip in the outdoor swimming pool (available from June to September) or soak in the Jacuzzi for a moment of pure wellbeing. Sun loungers are also at your disposal, perfect for admiring the view and letting yourself be enveloped in peace and quiet.
The Langhe await you with their authentic experiences: excursions, e-bike hire, typical restaurants and wine tasting are just some of the activities you can enjoy in the area.
If you wish, you can enrich your evening with an aperitif of wine and local products (not included). But the real highlight of the day will be after sunset, when you can open the roof of your StarsBOX and lie back and watch the stars!
In the morning, waking up will taste of good things: a hearty and genuine breakfast (included), with cakes, local cold meats and cheeses, juices and many other delicacies.
Check-out is by 11 a. m. the following morning.
Who it is aimed at
The StarsBOX is designed to accommodate a maximum of 2 adults.
The facility is not wheelchair-accessible.
Other information
The experience is available from April to October. Check-in is from 15:00 onwards.
The two StarsBoxes are located approximately 25 metres apart. There is an outdoor bathroom with WC and wash basin and a changing room a short distance away, both of which are shared between the two StarsBOXes. There is a solar shower by the swimming pool, but no indoor shower. In the colder months, a chest heater is available.
For theaperitif, which is not included and can be paid for on site, you can request a large platter for 2 people for 25€ or a small platter for 18€; bottles of wine start from 10€ upwards. You can request an aperitif at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail, also indicating any food allergies and/or intolerances.
Small dogs are allowed.
The hotel is not accessible by public transport; there is free parking on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed-date booking and the weather conditions are not suitable for safely carrying out the activity (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be fully refunded. The guide may offer you an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to accept or decline these proposals. If you cannot reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
