They say that all you need to do to find inner calm is to breathe deeply. We also suggest: take an alpaca for a walk.
In Val Tiberina, an eco-biological farmhouse and a 2-hour walk with the very sweet Bruce, Achille, Fiordaliso and Leonard await you.
A 2-day stay to really slow down, sleep in a flat immersed in nature and enjoy one of the most tender (and unexpectedly fun) experiences the Tuscan countryside has to offer.
What we will do
Check-in is available from 15: 00 to 21: 00 at the farmhouse in Pieve Santo Stefano (AR), a small rural village where centuries-old plants, streams and total silence frame your stay. At reception you will collect the keys and be accompanied to your flat.
You will stay in an independent flat, complete with fully equipped kitchen, linen, double bedroom and private bathroom with shower. There will be no TV or Wi-Fi: just us, nature and a rhythm of life that finally slows down.
The next day we will meet the very sweet Bruce, Eros, Achille, Fiordaliso, Leonard and the other alpacas and llamas on the farm. You will begin with a short introduction to get to know them and learn how to lead them by the halter.
Then the approximately two-hour nature walk will begin: you will walk through the hills, forest paths and meadows of the Tiberina Valley, each with your alpaca by your side. During the short stops, the animals will graze and you can take souvenir photos with your soft companions.
The times of the walk vary according to the season (10 a. m. or 2 p. m. in winter; 9 a. m. or 4 p. m. from June) and will be agreed upon directly with the facility.
Meals are not included in the package: breakfast can be added on site (€8 per person) with organic products from the farm; dinner at the restaurant is only available if booked in advance.
Check-out is by 10: 30 a. m.

The stay is designed for two persons over 18 years of age.
The facility is not wheelchair-accessible.

The alpaca walk may be shared with other participants. Hiking shoes must be worn in order to participate: the walk takes place in the hills and there are gentle ups and downs along the way) .
Dogs are allowed in the rooms with an extra charge of €20 per day (to be notified in advance) .
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport, but a shuttle service is available from the municipality of Pieve Santo Stefano at a cost of €10. 00 each way for the entire group: contact the guide at the contact details given in the booking confirmation e-mail to request the service.

What happens in case of bad weather?
The experiences included in the stay plus experience packages are subject to weather conditions. If the experience cannot take place due to bad weather or other causes of force majeure, you can choose between a refund for the experience that did not take place or rescheduling the activity for another date (if available). However, the stay cannot be refunded or rescheduled if the terms of the package cancellation policy have already expired.
Can I change the date selected for my stay?
