Full description
Sometimes you just need a glass of Barolo to be happy. Other times you need a glass of Barolo with the Langhe at your feet and an exclusive stay!
Spend a night in the guest quarters of the Castello di Perno winery in Monforte d'Alba: the package includes an overnight stay for two in a room furnished in contemporary art style, access to the infinity pool overlooking the vineyards, a delicious breakfast and a visit to the winery with a tasting of four wines.
If you wanted an excuse to escape to the Langhe, here it is!
What we will do
Check-in is from 3 p. m. to 6 p. m. at the Castello di Perno Winery in Castelletto, in the municipality of Monforte d'Alba (CN) .
You will stay in a double suite in the guest quarters, embellished with contemporary art details. Each room is equipped with a double bed, private bathroom with shower, toilet, sink and bidet, eco-friendly products, hairdryer, bed linen and towels, air conditioning and heating, free Wi-Fi, smart TV, kettle and mini bar.
Outside you will find an unheated infinity pool overlooking the vineyards, sun loungers and parasols, as well as a designer living area under the porch, with a view of the Serralunga castle.
Breakfast is included and is served from 9am to 10am, with baked goods, dry pastries, yoghurt, cold meats, cheeses, fruit juices and coffee.
The winery tour with tasting takes place on the same property, in the cellar adjacent to the guesthouse. You can arrange the time after booking: usually at 11: 00 a. m. or 2: 30 p. m. , either on the day of arrival or departure. The guide will first take you to the wine-making rooms and the barrel cellar (about 30 minutes) , then to the tasting room or to the panoramic terrace, where you will taste 4 glasses among Langhe Nascetta DOC, Barbera d'Asti DOCG, Langhe Nebbiolo DOC and Barolo DOCG, accompanied by breadsticks. The duration of the experience is approximately 2 hours.
Check-out is expected by 10: 30 a. m.

The facility has wheelchair-accessible rooms; the wine cellar is also accessible.

Attention! The meeting point is at the Perno Castle Winery, not at Perno Castle, which is 6 km away and will not be visited during the experience.
The experience is available all year round. Check-in is from 15: 00 to 18: 00, check-out by 10: 30.
The tasting is not exclusive and may take place in the company of other participants.
Small dogs are allowed on the premises.

Excluded from the fee is the tourist tax of €1. 50 per person per night, to be paid on site in cash or by debit card.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport. Electric charging stations are available.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is strict. You get a full refund if you cancel within 15 days from the activity start date. Within 14 and 8 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
