"Home sweet home, but what if we added a pinch of salt this time?
Spend a luxurious loft night in Trapani's historic centre and enjoy a couple's stay that includes a guided Vespa tour of Trapani's salt pans.
An experience that combines the city's Art Nouveau charm with the naturalistic landscapes of the salt pans inhabited by flamingos, herons and many other protected species!
What we will do
Check-in is from 15: 00 at the flat in the historic centre of Trapani (TP) .
You will stay in a completely renovated luxury loft located in one of the city's most prestigious condominiums, with an independent entrance. The flat has a bedroom with a double bed, a living room with TV corner, and 2 private bathrooms with bidet and shower. You will also have a full kitchen (equipped with fridge, oven, gas hob, kettle, coffee machine) to prepare dinner and breakfast (not included) .
The following morning, after checking out, you will have to reach the Vespa rental meeting point at 10: 00 a. m. from where the Vespa tour to the Salt Pans of Trapani will start. The salt pans have been elected a FAI "Place of the Heart" and are also the habitat of numerous species protected by WWF Italy such as the avocet, the pink flamingo, the white heron and many other species of birds and plants.
During the tour, you will admire the basins where salt is extracted using traditional techniques, the majestic windmills used to pump water between the basins, and visit the Salt Museum.
The tour will last about 2½ hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The flat is ideal to accommodate 2 adults. For children from 0 to 3 years old a cot can be requested free of charge, for children from 4 years old an extra bed is available on request for €25. 00 to be paid during the stay.
The upper floor of the loft is only accessible by stairs, therefore the accommodation is not suitable for wheelchair users or those with reduced mobility.
The Vespa tour is suitable for 18 years and over, both driver and passenger. The driver must have a B licence.
During the tour driver and passenger may swap driving if both meet the requirements.

The stay is available from mid-May to September.

Animals are allowed in the flat on request and there may be a surcharge for their presence.
The Vespa tour to the Saline is not an exclusive activity; it can also be shared with other participants.

On-site parking is available for a fee. The flat and Vespa rental location can be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
The experiences included in the stay plus experience packages are subject to weather conditions. If the experience cannot take place due to bad weather or other causes of force majeure, you can choose between a refund for the experience that did not take place or rescheduling the activity for another date (if available). However, the stay cannot be refunded or rescheduled if the terms of the package cancellation policy have already expired.
Can I change the date selected for my stay?
