Imagine waking up in the Novara Hills in a place where time seems to stand still.
In Bogogno, a couple's stay awaits you in a charming relais, perfect for rediscovering calm in a familiar and welcoming environment, a short distance from Lake Maggiore and Lake Orta.
What will really steal your heart, however, will be the tasting of four DOC and DOCG wines. Together with the owners, you will stroll through the vineyard and discover the historic cellars, sipping the essence of Alto Piemonte!
What we will do
Check-in is from 14: 00 to 20: 00 at Cascina Ca' Nova Bogogno (NO). On arrival, you will be welcomed by the staff and accompanied to your accommodation located in the relais 300 metres from the wine estate.
You will stay in a two-room apartment with a double bedroom, a small living room with an equipped kitchenette and mini fridge. You will find waiting for you a welcome kit with waffles, rusks and tea for your packed breakfast to be enjoyed in total privacy.
The highlight of your stay will be a guided tasting session lasting about 1½ hours. You will be taken on an experience that will start with the history of the 1669 farmhouse and continue with a walk through the vineyard. You will visit the vinification rooms and the impressive ageing cellar, where the wine rests in barrels.
You will then be able to taste 4 glasses of wine of your choice from local excellences such as Ghemme, Nebbiolo, Vespolina, Erbaluce or Metodo Classico sparkling wines, accompanied by an individual board of small selected samples.
Depending on the season, the tasting will take place in an intimate indoor room, under the portico overlooking the vineyards or directly in the barrel area. You can arrange the time and day of the activity (when checking in or checking out) directly with the property after confirmation of your reservation.
Check-out is until 12: 00.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is designed for 2 adults. The flat also has a sofa bed or cot for children, allowing the extension of the stay to younger guests at an extra cost upon request: contact us to submit your booking request.
The facility is not wheelchair accessible.
Wine tasting is reserved for adults only.
Other information
The experience is available all year round. Check-in is from 2 p. m. until 8 p. m. (please inform the establishment of your arrival time after booking confirmation) .
For your meals, you can take advantage of the many nearby agritourisms offering traditional dishes; the relais staff will be happy to provide you with the best suggestions. If you would like a breakfast with fresh produce, you can request a separate service at a partner establishment.
The estate is located within an elegant golf club only 300 metres from the relais accommodation.

Dogs are not allowed in the accommodation.
The accommodation is not easily accessible by public transport; there is free parking for guests on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
