Full description
Sail along the Syracuse coastline to discover its beauty, made even more unforgettable by the colours of the sunset.
Along the way you can admire some of the coast's most beautiful caves and enjoy views of theisland of Ortigia from a unique perspective.
The tour includes a 30-minute stop for swimming and an aperitif of typical local products, right in front of the Arethusa Spring, the freshwater spring that laps the sea at Syracuse.
What we will do
We will meet at the small port of Syracuse, from where we will set sail in our boat to discover the Syracuse coastline with its magnificent caves.
We will begin the tour as the sun gently begins to disappear behind the horizon line, tinging the sky pink and red. This is the perfect atmosphere to admire the caves of the coast from the boat, first of all the cave of love with its characteristic heart-shaped entrance.
We will then return with the boat to theisland of Ortigia and admire its many architectural beauties, from the Spanish walls to the Maniace Castle and the two bridges that connect it to the mainland, namely the Ponte Santa Lucia and the Ponte Umberto, with its romantic wrought-iron lampposts with a Venetian atmosphere.
The tour includes a bathing stop lasting about 30 minutes and a delicious aperitif with a platter of cheese and cold cuts, caponata and olives, all accompanied by water and prosecco. We will enjoy these delicacies right in front of the landscape of the Arethusa Spring, one of Syracuse's most suggestive views.
We will spend two hours of pleasant sailing together.
Who it is aimed at
The excursion is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Children from 0 to 6 years old participate free of charge: contact us to reserve their place on board.
The boat allows participants in wheelchairs. To request boarding for passengers with reduced mobility, please inform the skipper at the contact details provided in your booking confirmation email.

The excursion takes place from April to October, subject to weather and sea conditions, and is confirmed with a minimum number of 2 passengers.
Thetime of the experience may vary as it is dependent on sunset.
Themotor boat is 8.50 metres long and is equipped with all safety devices and accessories for comfortable sailing. In particular, participants are provided with an awning, fresh water shower, first aid kit and stereo.
Please notify the organisers in advance in the event of food allergies and intolerances, so that any changes can be made to the aperitif.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund!
