They call it 'white gold', but at sunset it turns a fiery red. We welcome you to the salt pans of Marsala, where sunset is always a spectacle of nature!
Prepare to savour this magic by gently navigating the Stagnone Lagoon. Accompanied by the captain's tales, you will admire the Island of Mozia and the Schola from a unique perspective.
An experience of almost 2 hours that will put your phone's memory to the test!
What we will do
The appointment is 20 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Marsala (TP). The reception staff at the salt pans will direct us to the boat with crew, to begin this excursion to discover the Stagnone Lagoon!
Having cast off our moorings, we will begin our slow navigation in the calm waters of the lagoon. We will circumnavigate the southern part of the island of Mozia, an ancient Phoenician colony full of charm, before passing by the small islet of Schola and skirting the Isola Grande.
As the sun begins its descent, the captain will entertain us with an explanation of the places and their history. There will be no stops for swimming: the experience is designed to fully enjoy the panorama and tranquillity of the sunset, admiring the outlines of the Egadi Islands in the distance.
We will conclude the tour by returning to the starting point, accompanied by the last gleams of the day. The activity will last a total of 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for all without age limits; children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The experience is not recommended for women in an advanced state of pregnancy.
The boat is accessible by wheelchair and to persons with reduced mobility.

The activity takes place from May to September and is confirmed with a minimum number of 8 participants.
The time and duration may vary slightly depending on the sunset.
The boat used may vary: it will be an open or covered motor boat, between 6 and 12 metres long, equipped in some cases with an awning.
There is a refreshment point at the meeting point with the possibility of aperitifs, to be paid for directly on site.
Small dogs are welcome on board.
Free parking spaces are available on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
