Full description
For us Italians, theaperitivo is sacred, especially in summer and especially at the seaside. If you are looking for a way to make it iconic, choose this sunset boat tour that will take you on a 2-hour excursion along the magnificent Costa degli Dei.
Stop at Riaci Bay for a swim and some snorkelling, then let yourself be enveloped by the allure of the Skeleton Cave.
To finish, watch the sun set over the Sanctuary of Santa Maria dell'Isola di Tropea while enjoying a delicious aperitif of typical Calabrian products such as salami and 'nduja and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. It will be a unique emotion!
What we will do
We will meet at the meeting point in Tropea (VV), where our skipper will be waiting for us. After an initial welcome during which the programme of the experience will be explained, we will set off on our excursion!
We will sail along the Costa degli Dei to the Bay of Riaci, which will enchant us with its deep blue waters. Here we will make a stop of about 30 minutes during which we can refresh ourselves with a swim and enjoy snorkelling. The area, in fact, has a seabed characterised by rich vegetation and all kinds of colourful fish.
Then we return to Tropea, stopping to admire the Grotta dello Scheletro (Cave of the Skeleton), so called because of the whitish and 'cadaverous' hues that the body of those who enter it takes on due to a play of light. This is one of the coastal destinations that are difficult to reach by land and which, seen from the boat, take on a whole new charm.
The last stop will be the magnificent Sanctuary of Santa Maria dell'Isola, where we will make another stop of about 40 minutes for a dip and an aperitif (included) with typical Calabrian products such as salami and 'nduja and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. As we enjoy the delicacies on offer, we will admire the surrounding landscape turning red as the sun is swallowed up by the sea. It will be the most exciting sunset of the summer!
The activity, including swimming breaks, will last a total of 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Unaccompanied minors under the age of 18 may participate in the activity upon signing a waiver from a responsible adult.
The boat is not accessible to people in wheelchairs or with walking difficulties.
Other information
The activity is available every dayfrom mid-May to the end of September and will be confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 2 participants.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport. Both free and paid parking spaces are available nearby.
Theboat used during the activity is a Scar Next 215 motor boat 6.50 m long and 2.30 m wide. It is equipped with a freshwater shower, climbing ladder, stereo and life jackets. It is necessary to remain barefoot on board.
During the experience, an aperitif (included) with typical Calabrian products such as salami and 'nduja and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be offered. In case of allergies and intolerances, you can request an alternative by calling the organisers in advance using the contact details you will receive in your booking confirmation e-mail.
Dogs are not allowed on board the boat.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
