We welcome you to a snorkelling experience like you’ve never seen before!
By taking part in this activity, you’ll get to swim in the waters of the magnificent Tavolara Marine Protected Area and use a sea scooter to explore the sea in search of sea bream, wrasse, groupers, crabs and starfish!
But that’s not all: you can relax on board and watch the sunset whilst enjoying a delicious aperitif made with local specialities!
What we will do
We’ll meet at the time indicated at the meeting point in San Teodoro (SS), where our guide will be waiting for us. They’ll welcome us and help us settle in on board a comfortable rubber dinghy as we set sail towards the heart of the Tavolara Marine Protected Area.
We’ll set sail towards some enchanting scenery, skirting the island of Ruja and admiring the outline of the Gulf of Lu Impostu from the sea. We’ll then reach the area around Cala Brandinchi, where we’ll stop for a spot of snorkelling!
Once in the water, the guide will provide us with all the necessary equipment: a wetsuit, fins, a mask and an underwater torch to illuminate the details of the seabed. We’ll also use sea scooters to glide effortlessly amongst schools of white seabream and saddled seabream, and to explore the sea in search of groupers, crabs and starfish!
After a spot of fun, we’ll head back on board to relax. We’ll be served a Sardinian aperitif (included) made with local produce (such as sausage and cheese) , accompanied by a glass of local wine or soft drinks for the little ones.
Finally, after admiring the spectacular sunset, we’ll return to the starting point, satisfied and happy with the experience!
The activity will last a total of 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is suitable for children aged 8 and over; unaccompanied children under the age of 18 may take part provided a parent has signed a consent form. Use of the sea scooter is restricted to participants aged 12 and over, but younger children may use it when accompanied by a parent.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible and the activity is not suitable for people with reduced mobility or pregnant women.
Other information
The activity runs from April to October and is confirmed subject to a minimum of 4 participants. The itinerary and stops may vary depending on weather and sea conditions, at the skipper’s discretion. Until early June, the trip will depart from Marina di Puntaldia rather than San Teodoro Marina. Please contact the organisers using the contact details provided in your booking confirmation email to request the exact address and further information.
The trip uses an Altamarea Wave inflatable boat with a Honda 252 engine, measuring 8 m in length and 3 m in width, featuring a shaded area and ample space with benches and cushions for relaxing.
Showers and toilets are available at the departure point. During the activity, you can leave your personal belongings in the care of the staff on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
