Admire a marvellous sunset in the Friuli mountains and enjoy driving a snowmobile on the snowy slopes of Sella Razzo, for a2-hour panoramic excursion that will leave you breathless!
You will be enveloped in the magical atmosphere of the snow, even more atmospheric at sunset. On board the gritty vehicle you will cross canyons, passes and hairpin bends until you reach an altitude of 1,800 metres, at a point that offers a spectacular view of Carnia.
What we will do
The appointment is at 15: 00 in Sauris di Sopra, a hamlet of the municipality of Sauris (UD) , belonging to the club of the authentic villages of Italy and a German-speaking language island.
After an introductory briefing on the use of snowmobiles and a small driving test, we will set off around 15: 30 for our panoramic excursion in the direction of Sella Razzo, a plateau located on the border between Veneto and Friuli, which offers a wide panorama of the Carnia mountains.
We will cross canyons and passes between avalanches, signs of an untameable nature, and after a series of hairpin bends we will reach a viewpoint at 1, 800 m altitude. There we will stop to admire the sunset over the valley. We will feel as if we are suspended between earth and sky - a sight not to be missed!
When the sun has disappeared behind the mountains, we will board the snowmobiles again and head for the Tenente Fabbro refuge, where we can stop for a drink and something to eat (the cost of the drink is not included in the participation fee) . The stop at the refuge on the way back will last about 15 minutes.
The activity will take about 2 hours of actual driving and will end with the return to the starting point.
Who it is aimed at
To drive a snowmobile, one must be at least 21 years old, with an A or B driving licence, while for passengers, aminimum age of 5 is sufficient.
This activity is open to everyone, even those with no previous experience.
Other information
The activity takes place from December to March, depending on weather and snowpack conditions.
Thedeparture time may vary depending on the month of the activity, so that arrival at Sella Razzo coincides with sunset. In the event of time variations, you will be notified after booking.
The fee includes the guided tour and the rental of a snowmobile for 2 persons, driver and passenger (who may swap driving if necessary).
The centre has 8 snowmobiles for a total of 16 participants.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
