Full description

Sunset in the mountains is already a spectacle. But experiencing it at 1, 600 metres, after a snowmobile ride, with a glass of sparkling wine in your hand and the Sappada Valley at your feet... is something you won't forget.

Join us for an approximately two-hour snowmobile tour through snowy forests and mountain roads to the Digola Pass, at an altitude of 1, 600 metres.
Here, as the sun sets behind the peaks, you can stop for an aperitif at altitude (not included) with sparkling wine and local products, while enjoying one of the most spectacular sunsets in the Dolomites.

What we will do

We meet in Sappada in the afternoon, as the sun begins to set behind the mountains. After the briefing with the guides and the driving and safety instructions, we climb into the two-seater snowmobiles: a rumble, a bit of snow rising. .. and off we go at 3pm.

The route begins by skirting the Piave River, at an altitude of around 1, 200 metres, and winds its way through snow-covered forests and silent valleys to the Enghe Valley. Here the snow is softer, the panorama opens up and the ascent towards the Digola Pass becomes pure emotion.

After about half an hour, we reach an altitude of 1, 600 metres, just as the sky lights up with warm colours and the Sappada Valley lights up below us. At the top, a welcoming malga awaits us for an aperitif at altitude (not included and to be paid for on site): a glass of sparkling wine, a platter of local cold meats and cheeses, snacks and time to enjoy the spectacle of the sunset in total relaxation.

We stay at altitude for about twenty minutes, just enough time to toast, take a few photos and breathe in the crisp mountain air. Then we get back on board the snowmobiles and head back down into the valley, with the lights starting to come on and the snow glistening under the headlights: a perfect ending to a truly unusual afternoon.

Return to the starting point is scheduled for 5 p. m. The activity lasts a total of about 2 hours, including briefing, ascent, aperitif stop and return.
