Have you ever said, 'sooner or later I will try surfing'? Well, that moment has arrived!
By taking part in this 1½-hour lesson in the province of Ragusa, you will learn how to balance on a board thanks to the advice of an instructor. After a few exercises on the beach, you will enter the water and put everything you have learnt into practice.
Don't put it off any longer: leave the routine behind and ride the waves!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Marina di Modica (RG) . Waiting for us will be the instructor who will hold the surf lesson.
After an initial welcome, we will begin the experience with a 20-minute theoretical explanation, during which we will learn the necessary nomenclature, how to stand on the board and how to change direction.
Having learned the basics, we will enter the water and start practising: the bottom will be shallow and the instructor will be by our side at all times to support us. Gradually, we will discover how to stand on the board independently.
After about 1 hour of practice, we will devote the last 5 minutes of the lesson to clarifying any doubts in order to consolidate what we have learnt.
The activity will last 1½ hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from the age of 7. Children under 18 can only participate if accompanied by a responsible adult.
It is not necessary to know how to swim to participate: you just need to be comfortable in the water.
The lesson is at an easy level and suitable for a first surfing experience.
Other information
The activity is available from the end of March to mid-November and will be confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 2 participants.
Outdoor showers, toilets for changing and a storage room for valuables are available at the meeting point.
Free parking spaces are available on site; the meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
