Full description
Fly in a paraglider in the Swiss skies for 30 exciting minutes, taking off from Monte Lema at an altitude of 1600 m. After the briefing with the pilot, you will take to the air securely harnessed to him and admire a magnificent landscape in total safety.
You will fly over Lake Maggiore and Lake Lugano and head towards Monte Generoso, one of the most imposing peaks of the Lugano Pre-Alps. Are you ready to live this dream?
What we will do
We will meet the instructor at the Monte Lema cable car, who will take us to the take-off point, located 50 m from the cable car exit itself, in 10-12 minutes.
The launch will take place from the summit of Monte Lema at a height of about 1600 m. This peak dominates the Ticino valley and is a favourite destination for sportsmen and tourists. The instructor will hold a briefing during which he will provide us with all the little information we need to experience the flight in peace. We will also be able to count on his help with the harnessing and positioning on the seat.
Once we are ready, we will make a run for the launch and soar into the air. We will thus live the heart-stopping experience of moving through the skies thanks to the updrafts.
A truly exceptional mountain landscape will unfold below us. We will fly over Lake Maggiore and Lake Lugano, pointing towards the pre-alpine peak of Monte Generoso with its 1704 m height, and will even be able to see the Po Valley in the distance. We will remain in the air for 30 minutes.
At the end of the flight we will glide gently back to our meeting point. The total duration of the activity will be about one hour.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is of an easy level and suitable for beginners. Children from the age of 6 can also fly, with signed parental consent. Up to the age of 16, the presence of a parent is mandatory.
In order to fly paragliders, participants must be within a weight limit of 140 kg. Other requirements are good health and good mobility.

The activity is available from April to November, subject to weather conditions.
Attention! Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the departure time.
If you want to take home the memory of this experience, you can choose theoption "with photo and video" at an additional cost of 40€ when you book. Photos and videos will be sent by special cable to your phone at the end of the activity.
Important: Paragliding is an activity that is strongly dependent on the weather. The pilot will contact you a day or two before the activity to give you confirmation of the time and meeting point. Safety first: if the weather forecast is not good, the flight will be carried out in another area or postponed to a new date.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
