Full description
Fly for 30 minutes in a tandem paraglider together with an experienced instructor with the Swiss landscape at your feet. You will take off from 1532 m at the summit of Monte Tamaro, after an introductory briefing.
You will then experience the thrill of a panoramic flight while sitting perfectly safe in a harness. You will be able to admire the delta of the River Maggia, the cities of Locarno and Bellinzona, and the waters of Lake Maggiore and Lake Lugano. The landscape will be made even more extraordinary by the magnificent peaks of the Alps.
What we will do
We will meet the instructor at the Monte Tamaro cable car in Rivera. We will have to take the cable car to the launching point , which is located at an altitude of 1532 metres.
Once we reach our destination, the pilot will give an introductory briefing: that is, he will give us all the information about the flight and help us put on the safety harness.
When we are ready, we will take a few running steps and rise into the air using the updrafts. We will be in the air for 30 minutes during which we will experience the joy of flying by hearing the sound of the wind and watching the panorama unfold at our feet. The flight will be very scenic and we will be able to admire all the beauty of the Swiss landscape with its valleys, waterways, lakes and mountains.
We will fly over the delta of the Maggia river, the city of Locarno, the promontory of Cardada Cimetta and the blue waters of Lake Maggiore and Lake Lugano. And that's not all because the instructor will also allow us to enjoy the view of the beautiful city of Bellinzona, with the highest peaks of the Alps framing the landscape.
The landing will take place near the meeting point. In total, the activity will last about one hour.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is of an easy level and suitable for beginners. Children from the age of 6 can also fly, with signed parental consent. Up to the age of 16, the presence of a parent is mandatory.
In order to fly paragliders, participants must be within a weight limit of 140 kg. Other requirements are good health and good mobility.

The activity is available from April to November, subject to weather conditions.
Attention! Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the departure time.
Important: paragliding is an activity that is strongly weather-dependent. The pilot will contact you a day or two before the activity to give you confirmation of the time and meeting point. Safety first: if the weather forecast is not good, the flight will be carried out in another area or postponed to a new date.
