Full description
Experience the thrill of a tandem paragliding flight with an experienced instructor. The launch will take place from Monte Tamaro in Switzerland at analtitude of approximately 700 m .
The instructor will give a short introductory briefing to give you some information and help you put on your harness. You will then be ready for a wonderful 15-minute scenic flight, during which you will have an unforgettable landscape at your feet.
You will see from above Lake Maggiore and Lake Lugano, the beautiful town of Bellinzona and the delta of the River Maggia, all framed by the highest peaks of the Alps.
What we will do
We will meet at the Monte Tamaro cable car in Rivera, where our experienced instructor will be waiting for us with the paraglider and all the equipment. We will take the cable car up to the point from which we will make our launch.
The take-off point is just 10 m from the cable car exit. Once there, we will have a small briefing: the pilot will give us all the essential information about the flight and help us with the harness and seat. We will then be able to enjoy the flight in comfort and experience the thrill of launching and hovering in the sky, with the paraglider guided by the updrafts.
This will be a very scenic flight of about 15 minutes from an altitude of 700 m. We will have a breathtaking panorama at our feet, where valleys alternate with high mountains. We will see the delta of the Maggia river, the city of Locarno, the 1670 m high peak of Cimetta and the calm waters of Lake Maggiore and Lake Lugano.
The instructor will fly the paraglider so that we can also admire Bellinzona with the highest and most imposing ridges of the Alps in the background.
The landing will take place near the meeting point. Overall, the activity will last about one hour.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is of an easy level and suitable for beginners. Children from the age of 6 can also fly, with signed parental consent. Up to the age of 16, the presence of a parent is mandatory.
In order to fly paragliders, participants must be within a weight limit of 140 kg. Other requirements are good health and good mobility.

The activity is available from April to November, subject to weather conditions.
Attention! Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the departure time.
Important: paragliding is an activity that is strongly dependent on the weather. The pilot will contact you a day or two before the activity to give you confirmation of the time and meeting point. Safety first: if the weather forecast is not good, the flight will be carried out in another area or postponed to a new date.

If you have made a fixed-date booking and the weather conditions are not suitable for safely carrying out the activity (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be fully refunded. The guide may offer you an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to accept or decline these proposals. If you cannot reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
