Full description
Experience tandem paragliding with a launch from Monte Lema, at an altitude of 1600 m. After reaching the take-off point by cable car, the instructor will give you a briefing to provide you with all the information you need to enjoy the experience.
Once harnessed to the pilot, you will be ready for the small run-up to the launch. You will fly over a breathtaking panorama and admire from above Lake Lugano and Lake Maggiore, the peak of Monte Generoso and even the Po Valley. You will enjoy the thrill of flying for 15 minutes.
What we will do
We will meet at the Monte Lema cable car, a mountain that dominates the Ticino valleys. Together with the instructor we will reach the take-off site at 1600 m with a cable car ride of about 10-12 minutes.
Once at the launch site, we will do an introductory briefing to put on the harness correctly and enjoy the experience safely. A short run downhill and... off we go! Rising on a paraglider, we will experience the feeling of literally swimming through the air, aided by the ascending currents.
We will fly over Lake Maggiore and Lake Lugano for about 15 minutes and catch a glimpse of Monte Generoso, which towers among the mountains of the Lugano Pre-Alps with its 1704 m and its majestic Fiore di Roccia, an architectural work by Mario Botta. Looking up, we will also be able to catch a glimpse of the Po Valley.
At the end of the flight, we will glide gently back to our meeting point. The total duration of the activity will be about one hour.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is of an easy level and suitable for beginners. Children from the age of 6 can also fly, with signed parental consent. Up to the age of 16, the presence of a parent is mandatory.
In order to fly paragliders, participants must be within a weight limit of 140 kg. Other requirements are good health and good mobility.

The activity is available from April to November, subject to weather conditions.
Attention! Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the departure time.
Important: paragliding is an activity that is strongly dependent on the weather. The pilot will contact you a day or two before the activity to give you confirmation of the time and meeting point. Safety first: if the weather forecast is not good, the flight will be carried out in another area or postponed to a new date.
