Lifting your shadow off the ground and pretending that gravity is just a matter of opinion: have you ever tried it? If the idea of floating in mid-air appeals to you more than a Sunday brunch, you’ve come to the right place.
In Cuorgnè (TO), a tandem paragliding flight with an experienced pilot awaits you. Suspended in the blue sky for 15–20 minutes, you’ll go from that initial rush of excitement to the sheer wonder of seeing the mountains from the sky. Ready for take-off?
What we will do
You’ll meet the pilot at the time specified at the meeting point in Cuorgnè (TO).
From there, we’ll head up together to the take-off point, surrounded by the Canavese countryside. Once at the top, you’ll put on your helmet and harness and take part in an initial briefing: the pilot will explain how the paraglider works and the few, simple rules for flying in complete safety.
Then comes the highlight: a few running steps down the slope and… off you go – your feet leave the ground! You’ll fly for 15–20 minutes, guided by the thermals, enjoying the bird’s-eye view of the lush Orco Valley and the surrounding peaks.
During the flight, you can choose your own level of excitement: enjoy the tranquillity of the scenery, try your hand at the controls under the pilot’s guidance, or ask for aerobatic manoeuvres and spins to get your adrenaline pumping (weather permitting) .
The whole adventure will be captured on video, filmed by the pilot using an action camera.
The landing will be gentle and will take place near the starting point. Including welcome, transfer to the take-off point, briefing and the flight itself, the activity lasts approximately 1 hour in total.
Who it is aimed at
Paragliding is an activity that anyone can enjoy; you just need to be in good physical condition and able to run a short distance.
The activity is also suitable for those who suffer from vertigo: as your feet are not touching the ground, you won’t experience the sensation of falling that is typical of vertigo whilst paragliding.
You can take part from the age of 6 onwards, provided you weigh between 45 kg and 110 kg. Children under 18 may take part with a consent form signed by both parents.

The experience takes place all year round.
Important: paragliding is an activity that is heavily dependent on the weather. The pilot will contact you the day before the activity, after checking the weather forecast, to confirm whether the flight will go ahead and at what time.
Up to two people can fly at the same time; to arrange this, please book for two people and then contact the pilot using the contact details provided in your booking confirmation email.
A video of the experience is included in the price and will be filmed by the pilot during the flight.
The meeting point is accessible by car (with on-site parking) , and transport to the take-off point is by your own vehicle or by the organisation’s transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 48 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
