Do you ever wake up and wonder: what’s it like to launch yourself from a paraglider at an altitude of 1, 000 metres? !
Well, now that you know this is possible, you’re bound to! Treat yourself – or someone else – to an adrenaline rush with this tandem paragliding flight over the Serchio Valley: you’ll enjoy the spectacular views of one of Tuscany’s most picturesque locations, letting the thermals carry you whilst the pilot takes care of everything else.

What we will do
You will meet the pilot in Diecimo, in the municipality of Borgo San Mozzano (LU), and together you will make your way to the take-off point, at an altitude of around 1, 000 metres.
Once there, you’ll prepare for the flight with a briefing on how the paraglider works and on safety and behaviour guidelines. Then, once you’ve put on your helmet and harness, you’ll be ready for take-off. Securely strapped together, all it will take is a short run downhill to take flight and begin gliding, carried by the updrafts.
The flight will last around 15–20 minutes and offer you a panoramic view of one of Tuscany’s most picturesque natural landscapes. You’ll fly over the Serchio Valley, observing from above the wild countryside, the hills, the streams and the canyons that characterise the area, where, amongst other things, the imposing Ponte del Diavolo stands out.
During the flight, you’ll be comfortably seated, taking in the scenery. The pilot will take care of everything else, concluding with a gentle landing near the original meeting point. In total, the activity will last around 1 hour.
Who it is aimed at
A tandem paragliding flight is an activity that anyone can enjoy. You just need to be in good health and able to run a few metres.
You can take part from the age of 7 onwards, provided you weigh between 30 and 130 kg.

Important: paragliding is an activity that is heavily dependent on weather and wind conditions, so the times shown on the calendar are for guidance only. Please contact the pilot the day before the activity to confirm whether the flight can go ahead, as well as the time and meeting point.
This activity is available all year round, subject to weather and wind conditions. On weekdays, the experience is confirmed once a minimum of 2 participants has been reached.
You can request a video memento of the experience by paying an additional fee directly to the pilot on the day. Please contact the pilot using the contact details provided in your booking confirmation email for further information.
Participants must make their own way to the take-off point by car.
On request, it is possible to arrange a tandem flight for up to 2 people (each with their own pilot) , subject to availability and for an additional charge of €40–€50 per person (to be paid on site) on top of the two fees indicated per person.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
