Castellammare del Golfo is spectacular, but it is even more spectacular when viewed from above!
Discover this new perspective by taking part in a tandem paragliding flight: in the company of a pilot with 20 years' experience, let yourself be carried away by the ascending currents above the Tyrrhenian Sea for 15 to 20 minutes. From up here, Sicily is even more bedda!
And then land softly, for a total experience of 1 hour of which you will receive a video souvenir.
What we will do
I will be waiting for you 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Castellammare del Golfo (TP). To welcome you there will be me, a pilot with 20 years of experience and 2 Italian championship victories!
We will board my vehicle to reach the take-off point in about 10 minutes. Here a briefing will take place: I will provide you with all the necessary information on safety regulations and flight phases, so that you can enjoy the experience in peace (and with a pinch of adrenaline).
Once you've donned your equipment, securely harnessed to me, we'll take a short run-up for take-off! Carried along by the updrafts, we will admire Castellammare del Golfo and its surroundings from a unique perspective.
The flight lasts about 15 to 20 minutes, at the end of which there will be a gentle landing near the meeting point. The experience lasts a total of about 1 hour (transfer to the take-off point, pre-flight briefing, paragliding flight) and will end with the handing over of a video-record made with GoPro.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone. No specific skills or physical preparation are required, you just need to be able to take a few tentative steps with the rider. The only limit is the weight, which must be between 20 and 120 kg.
Unaccompanied minors under the age of 18 must present a written consent signed by their parents. If not presented, they will not be able to take part in the activity and will not be reimbursed.
Other information
ATTENTION: The activity takes place subject to weather and wind conditions at the organiser's discretion. After carefully evaluating the forecast, the day before the planned date of the experience the pilot will send you confirmation of the feasibility of the flight, time and meeting point.
The experience is available from January to December.
At the end of the experience you will be shared via smartphone your video-record shot with GoPro.
