Full description
You may have been spending your holidays in Pizzo all your life. But like this, you have never seen Pizzo .
How? From the sky, by paraglider! In the company of a pilot, take flight for up to 30 minutes over Pizzo and its surroundings: from the Pizzo pine forest to Lake Angitola, from the sea to the hinterland. The panorama will be a surprise, as it will depend on the weather and wind conditions of the day.
In any case, it will be an incredible 1-hour experience.
What we will do
I will be waiting for you 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Pizzo (VV). One day before our meeting I will inform you of the exact address of the meeting point, selected on the basis of the best weather/wind conditions of the day. And yes, I am indeed your pilot!
Upon your arrival we will board a transport that will take us to the take-off point. Once on site, I will hold a briefing during which I will explain the principles of paragliding and provide you with behavioural guidelines to follow in order to enjoy the experience carefree (with your head in the clouds, literally).
Having donned the equipment, we will be ready for take-off. Just a short run and we will have taken off in no time! The flight will last up to 30 minutes, depending on the updrafts. Also dependent on these will be the panorama over which we will fly, which could range from the Pizzo pine forest to Lake Angitola; the view of the sea will never be missing!
Once landed, we will finally return to the meeting point via transport. The experience will last a total of 1 hour.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone, generally from the age of 10; children under the age of 18 must necessarily be accompanied on site by an adult who must sign a waiver.
A weight of between 30 and 130 kg is required to participate.
The activity is not available for pregnant women.

The experience takes place from January to December, subject to weather/wind conditions at the organiser's discretion.
This activity is closely linked to the weather/wind conditions: the day before the date of the experience, the organiser will notify you of any flight confirmation and details of themeeting point andtime.
Transport to the take-off point or return after landing will be carried out in the organiser's or participants' vehicles according to availability.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
