Full description
If you are looking for something to take your breath away, you have just found it.
With a paraglider flight , it only takes a few steps and you are in the air, admiring Pisa, the Apuan Alps and, in the distance, the sea. You will fly for about 15-20 minutes in tandem with a professional pilot: you don't have to do anything but let go.
And trust me: once in the air, you will wonder why you didn't do it before.
What we will do
We will meet in the province of Pisa, in one of the authorised flying areas (the instructor will contact you two days in advance to inform you of the precise location, chosen according to the best weather conditions).
After a welcome and initial briefing, thecertified instructor will explain everything you need to know to face the experience in total safety: how the paraglider works, how to position yourself and what to expect during the flight.
At this point, you will put on your harness and together you will start to walk slightly downhill. In a few steps, you will feel the wind under your feet and... you are flying!
You will be suspended in the air for 15-20 minutes, carried by the ascending currents: no engine, no noise, just the rustle of the wind and Tuscany opening up beneath you.
You will see a unique spectacle, with views ranging from the Apuan Alps Park to Lake Massaciuccoli and country villages. The spectacle is assured, from the top of the paraglider it will be the verdant Tuscan nature that will be the star.
Everything will end with a soft landing on level ground. Between preparation, flight and transfers, the experience will last a total of about two hours.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an easy level and is open to anyone in good health, with a body weight between 30 and 110 kg.
No special experience or skills are required. The only restrictions are for pregnant women and those with mobility problems in their lower limbs.
Minors may also participate, with written permission signed by their parents.
Other information
Paragliding is closely linked to weather and wind conditions. It can be booked and carried out all year round, but will only be confirmed if weather conditions are compatible with maximum safety for participants.
The meeting and take-off location varies depending on the period and weather, but will always be in the province of Pisa, in San Giuliano Terme or Orzignano. Please note: contact the pilot 2 days before the time chosen for the activity at the references you will find in the booking email to receive confirmation of the time and meeting point.
The 10€ jeep transfer to the take-off point is not included in the fee and will be paid on site on the day of the activity.
You can request photos and videos of the experience directly from the pilot at an extra cost of 20€ (to be paid on site).

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed-date booking and the weather conditions are not suitable for safely carrying out the activity (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be fully refunded. The guide may offer you an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to accept or decline these proposals. If you cannot reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
