What if you could discover a secret tunnel under an eighteenth-century villa, walk among centuries-old vineyards and let yourself be won over by wines that tell all the magic of Romagna?
Among the hills of Romagna, the 'House of 100 Windows' awaits you for an adventure among vineyards, ancient cellars and centuries-old stories. You will explore theancient barrel cellar dug underground, admire a rare collection of bottles and toast with fine wines, accompanied by the authentic flavours of the territory.
A 1.5-hour experience that will make you experience wine like never before.
What we will do
The appointment is at the eighteenth-century villa and winery Casa di Noelia, in Predappio (FC), at the time selected when booking.
After a welcome from the staff, we will begin with a short walk through the vineyards surrounding the villa. This will be an opportunity to immerse ourselves in nature and discover the secrets of local viticulture.
We will continue with a visit to the production cellar, where we will get to the heart of the winemaking process. We will see first-hand how grapes are transformed into wine thanks to techniques that combine tradition and innovation, and we will be guided by fascinating stories about the vintner's craft.
From here we will penetrate theancient barrel cellar, hidden in a fascinating underground tunnel, to theZoli Historical Archive in Predappio, a collection of no less than 1,000 bottles produced between 1905 and 1970. Each of these bottles is a small fragment of the area's winemaking tradition.
Finally, we will enter the splendid 18th-century villa, known as the 'House of the 100 windows'. Inside the villa we will conclude the experience with a tasting of 3 selected wines from the Noelia Ricci and Pandolfa lines, mainly Sangiovese-based reds.
Each glass will be accompanied by locally produced bread and extra-virgin olive oil, along with the authentic flavours of Azienda Zavoli's cured meats and cheeses from Caseificio il Sasso.
The experience lasts a total of about 1½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The wine tasting is reserved for participants over 18 years of age only. Underage participants will be served a tasting of typical products accompanied by water. Children aged 0 to 8 years participate free of charge.
Other information
The experience is bookable all year round on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
Dogs are allowed on the premises.
